Ohio’s Grateful Dog Bakery is all about sharing the love – with cats. The 5-year-old spot, located just outside Cleveland, Ohio, serves up food and treats to hungry dogs, and their feline counterparts, as well. Peace, love and happiness, pups!

But it’s not all about the sweet stuff – owner Nancy Winrod keeps the focus on health and nutrition, too. Recent classes have included how-tos on making herbal tinctures and salves, but also cover lighter topics, like how to paint a portrait of your pet.

“We’re all about having fun,” Winrod, who throws an annual ‘Woofstock’ party, tells PEOPLEPets.com. “It’s a very laid-back place.”

When patrons (and their pets) aren’t learning in the shop, they’re gobbling up treats, like Minnie’s mini-muffins (named for Winrod’s dachshund mix) and Nutter Butter bones, dipped in yogurt. Staying true to their Ohio roots, the bakery serves up flavorful Bow Wow Buckeyes, too.

Though cats don’t get quite the array of sweet treats dogs do, the bakery offers Grandma Lucy’s freeze-dried tuna, chicken and lobster (fancy!) and a variety of other tasty options.

So while your dog and cat may fight like, well, dogs and cats, know that there’s a bakery out there helping to keep the peace. Groovy.
