After a senior woman fell and broke her femur in Arizona, her service dog came to her rescue. He licked her to wake her up and fetched her phone so she could call the paramedics. –ABC News

Though Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter, his New York counterpart, Staten Island Chuck, had the opposite outcome when he made his weather prognostication. Conveniently enough, Chuck told Mayor Michael Bloomberg that he also predicted a Super Bowl win for the Giants. –New York Daily News
