In a new interview with Details magazine, single actor Jeremy Renner says he adopted his cream-colored miniature French bulldog, Franklin, because he was lonely. “Right now the only thing consistent in my life is that little dog. That’s why I got it,” he says. “I was getting really lonely. I needed somebody or something to be there with me through the whole journey.” –

A video of an exasperated dog owner chasing after his pal Fenton has garnered over 500,000 views on YouTube. The clip shows the pooch chasing a herd of deer onto a busy London roadway.–

Authorities in the U.K. have arrested the 33-year-old driver of a Porsche 911 Carrera who allegedly drove several miles at 70-miles per hour with a beagle collie mix dragging from the back of his vehicle. The dog was later dumped by the side of the road and died from its injuries.–
