Hank, a former street cat, is 9 years old and lives in Springfield, Va. –DCist An Iowa City man has been charged with theft – for stealing his own cat. The cat was found roaming the streets and had been picked up by a local shelter; when the man went to retrieve the cat, he refused to pay the shelter fee, stuffed the cat in a carrier and went home. –AP Supporters of the Sumatran tiger, an endangered species, ran across hot coals at the London Zoo to raise money for conservation efforts. –ITN News A dog ran across traffic on an Albuquerque highway, causing a chain reaction car crash that involved a semi tractor-trailer full of 36,000 lbs. of frozen meat.
