In the mind of many dogs, the catwalk is a terrifying place to be.

And by catwalk, we mean the mere moments it takes a dog to walk past a cat of any size or demeanor.

This 3-minute ode to scaredy-dogs everywhere (via Huffington Post) is jam-packed with pooches hilariously panic-stricken by the prospect of sneaking by an imposing kitty in a room, on a stairway, in a hallway – you get the point. Each of them larger than their feline adversary, they turn to Jell-O at the sight of a cat, not unlike a jittery underage teen running past the bouncer after having shown a fake ID. Eeep!

There’s a lesson to be learned from all of this feline intimidation: If you want the dog to stop barking at the mailman, riffling through the trash or eating your shoes, you need a cat to lay down the law.
