Stars & Their Pets
Lance’s rescue dogs may be brothers, but they’re different as night and day! While Dingo, 5, “likes to chill and sleep,” says Lance, Foster, also 5, is as playful as they come. “He likes to take stuffed animals. Three months ago I found a bear that I’d been missing, and I saw the top of his head, buried. Foster buried him!”

When searching for a dog, Ashley knew she wanted a Maltipoo that was teacup-sized, and Maui was – literally! “When I first saw a picture of her she was actually in a coffee cup,” the actress says of her now 1 1/2-year-old pup. “She was so tiny and had this brown fur and a little white foot. I call it her lucky foot.”
Pearl, 10, is pint-sized, but it doesn’t mean she can’t stand up to the tough guys. “She likes to watch TV sometimes,” the iCarly star says. “My mom always says she knows when there’s a bad guy in a movie cause Pearl will start barking! We always joke that she’s like a lion – you can tell she thinks she’s really big.”

BILLY RAY CYRUS
Tex, 4, may be a big dog, but his best bud is quite little. “He does have one friend in the yard, a squirrel,” says actor/singer Billy Ray. “I’ll tell him, ‘Tex, your squirrel friend is here,’ and he’ll jump off the couch and look at that squirrel. He dreams about someday reaching up and getting that squirrel, but I don’t think he would ever harm him – he loves that squirrel.”
CARRIE ANN INABA
Forget an alarm clock – Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann has cats Shadow, 17, Squeaker, 13, and Taz, 6, to help her rise and shine. “They all sleep with me on my side of the bed,” she says. “My side is crowded! But if I miss the alarm, Taz will wake me up. He hits me with his paw.”
Tennis star Serena is known for her skills on the court, so what kinds of tricks can her pups Jackie, 9, and Lorelei, 3, perform? “They’re really smart. I’ll say, ‘Get in the bag,’ and they’ll run to their bag,” Serena boasts. “I’ll say, ‘Go find the kitty,’ and they’ll go find the kitty.”
