The Green Lantern loves locking eyes with rescue dog Baxter – in fact, it’s how they met. “I saw this big, dumb-looking retriever staring up at me,” he told PEOPLE of finding his dog at a Houston animal shelter. “I whispered to him, ‘Hey, let’s get the hell out of here.’ … [And] he came with me, he jumped in the car, and we’ve been best buddies ever since.”
It’s hard for to ever put down her pint-sized pooch Hannah, whom she added to the family in Nov. 2012. “How cute is she?!?!” she Tweeted.
The Dark Knight Rises star made fast friends with his canine costar, puckering up for a sweet smooch with the adorable animal on the New York City set of his new film, Animal Rescue.
To mark 100 days after undergoing a successful bone marrow transplant, the Good Morning America anchor celebrated with main mutt KJ. “Look who made it back for my 100 day celebration,” Roberts Tweeted. “We just keep staring at each [other] … can’t believe she’s finally home.”
Judging by that big grin on his face, it’s clear that the Oscar-nominated would rather kick back and relax with French bulldog Dali than attend any awards show.
“I’m obsessed,” the Safe Haven once told PEOPLE, professing her love for her Cavalier King Charles spaniels, Lexi and Harley. “People who follow me on Twitter are like, ‘Can you please stop Tweeting about your dogs? Because we get it. They’re cute.’”
Country’s never says no to a cuddle with her cast of canine characters: Jessi, Waylon, Black Betty, Cher and Delta Dawn. “To me, my dogs are my children,” she told PEOPLE. “I think the unconditional love you get from an animal, especially a dog, is better than anything else.”
