The reality star and his family saw the fast felines up close in Tampa

He may dole out a lot of wisdom on Twitter and on his reality show, Run’s House, but Reverend Run Simmons knows there are still things left to learn. Like, for instance, that the cheetah is the world’s fastest land animal. The Reverend knows this better than anyone after a visit to the Cheetah Run at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Fla., last week.

Simmons’s and his family spent time gazing at the amazingly fast felines who were cooling down with frozen treats at their new habitat, which opened this spring. Later, the family’s littlest members had fun meeting Sesame Street characters while the Reverend’s son, Russy, and his pal Brandon Boles, took on the fierce new triple launch rollercoaster, Cheetah Hunt.

The fast cats weren’t the only animals the Reverend got up close and personal with. “Gangsta monkey,” he Tweeted with a photo of one very laid back primate. “This animal here is relaxed alllllll the way chillin.”
