Usher could make an instructional manual sound wildly interesting. Those warnings at the end of drug commercials, those could use some Usher-izing, too.

The Grammy-winning singer is lending his smooth, magnetic voice to the Discovery Channel next month for something that’s actually already cool — HELLO WORLD, a six-part documentary series focusing on wonders of the natural world, but with a twist: We see them through the eyes of some of today’s most celebrated musicians.

In the first episode, called Stronger, airing July 9 at 8 p.m., Usher explains the unique way in which a fox catches rodents to eat (and sometimes #fails miserably at it). A fox, as it turns out, has magnetic qualities like Usher, too, but this kind is linked to the earth’s magnetic field. Yep, you’ll definitely be tweeting, #mindblown.

Subsequent episodes of the show — featuring singers Christina Aguilera, Ellie Goulding, Joan Jett, Dave Matthews and Steven Tyler — take viewers deep into the environments of other animals like sea turtles, jumping spiders, rhinos, and hawks, as they live their daily lives.  But there’s nothing ho-hum here, each episode features the artist’s storytelling and one of their well-known songs.

Don’t miss Usher’s sly TV turn with foxes on HELLO WORLD, airing July 9 at 8 p.m. ET on the Discovery Channel.
