Bullock, who shared her beautiful adopted newborn Louis with PEOPLE this week, is already an experienced adoptive mother to two pooches named Poppy and Ruby.

CARRY-ALL
Ruby, a two-legged Chihuahua, and Poppy, a three-legged Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix, usually get hoisted up into Mom’s arms. “Where I go, they go,” she told PEOPLE. “Who’s going to walk a two-legged dog?”

Bullock, who sees her pups as perfectly normal creatures, told PEOPLE that “any dog that is missing something is welcome” in her home.

And anyway, what’s normal? “If it has four legs and is perfectly okay, it’s got to have some emotional problems!”

By virtue of not having her front legs, Ruby enjoys being carried. “She was born with, like, a little flipper here, and a little flipper here,” Bullock said on The Ellen Degeneres Show. “She’s like a little dinosaur, a velociraptor.”
