Twin male pandas were born last month on Sept. 7 after their mother was artificially inseminated. On hand for the delivery was Dr. Yuan Bo, who traveled from Beijing to assist with the birth and help the cubs in their first months. The 2-lb. babies, still nameless, are spending most of their infancy in an incubator, and being fed by their mother in shifts. The birth of the cubs is a good sign not only for the international panda community but also for Spain, which has gone 28 years without a panda birth!
