FLOYD WAS THE GREAT LOVE OF HER LIFE
The got a tattoo to commemorate her dog Floyd, who died in 2014. “I am broken,” Cyrus said on Twitter after he died. “I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him, this is unbearable.” Even though over a year has passed, Cyrus continues to post commemorative pics of the pup on Instagram.
SHE NEVER FORGETS THE PETS SHE'S LOST
Cyrus’s blowfish, Pablow, died a few months ago, and the singer is definitely not over it. Not only did she get a tattoo of the fish (we’re seeing a trend here), she wrote and performed a tearful song dedicated to Pablow, which she posted on Facebook. (“You’ve never been on land and you’ve never seen the sky/ You don’t know what a cloud is why did everything I loved have to die.”)
SHE'S INSEPARABLE FROM DOG EMU
“Never will I replace Floyd, and that’s something I had to take time to understand. We had a very special memorial service for Floyd, and I felt my angel Floydy gave Emu his blessing,” Cyrus said when she announced she was adopting Emu in June 2014. The new pup found his place in Cyrus’s inner circle in no time – the two take showers together, and Emu even snagged some prime real estate on her iPhone.
HER PIG BUBBA SUE IS BASICALLY HER BFFL
SHE ADOPTS RESCUE DOGS
And she cuddles with them on her pizza bed, as one does. Her rescue pit bull Mary Jane and Emu compete for kisses in this Instagram shot captioned, “Waking up @ 1 pm like.” Mary Jane, whom Cyrus adopted with ex-boyfriend in 2012, joined her clan just two weeks after she adopted Happy, a Rottweiler-beagle mix that was abandoned outside Walmart.
SHE HANGS OUT WITH A TURTLE ON THE REGULAR
Meet “ReptiLLILIAN Aka Frog aka Turtle” Cyrus captioned this picture of her chilling with her tiny pet turtle.
