Hay, do you want some carrot sticks with that?

One woman in England caused a stir when she pulled up to the drive-thru speaker of a McDonald’s – on a horse-drawn carriage.

Debbie Murden, 42, riding with a companion, and the horse, a Welsh Cob stallion named Dago, started to place her order, but was refused service because the situation was deemed a safety hazard.

“I went into the restaurant to buy a meal for me and my boyfriend and some carrot sticks for my horse,” Murden told the Daily Mail.

She also expressed surprised at being refused, since she had been at the same drive-thru with the horse in the past, and had been served. Murden frequently travels on divided highways with Dago, and claims she has never had any issues with cars, either.

Luckily, Murden and co. did not go hungry for long. Next door to the McDonald’s is a KFC, which happily served the group some lunch.
