It’s been said you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. Obviously, that horse wasn’t led to the Drinkwell 360 Fountain! Created by veterinarian Dr. Mary Burns, the fountain constantly circulates water, inhibiting bacterial growth and keeping water fresh-tasting for your pets. With five interchangeable spouts, the fountain can be adjusted to provide anywhere from one to five free-falling streams of water at a time, serving multiple pets – or just one!

Since I set up the fountain for my Sheltie, Andy, back in November, he’s been drinking at least three times his normal serving of water each day – which is a great thing! Funnily enough, he loves sticking his neck in the single stream, too; I assume it cools him off when he’s feeling warm. The fountain doesn’t require too many refills in a day, which is nice, since I’m away from home during working hours, and all of the pieces have fit easily into the dishwasher when I’ve cleaned them. It’s a great piece for those craving a little luxury for their pet’s daily routine.

The Drinkwell 360 retails for $64.99 and is available at PetSmart, Dr. Fosters & Smith, PETCO and at petfountain.com.
