World's Biggest Puppy Hopeful
Euphrates is a 9-month-old puppy who stands 6 feet tall on her hind legs and weighs over 180 pounds. She’s not done growing yet, and her owners think she'll be the new Guinness World Record holder for "Biggest Puppy."
Most people she meets on the street think Euphrates is a full-grown dog, but she's not even a year old yet. Her owner, Jared Howser, of Salt Lake City, Utah, has contacted numerous breeders and Guinness World Records in hopes the American Molossus could be the new "World's Biggest Puppy."

World's Longest Cat
Kelsey Gill long held a suspicion her cat Ludo could be a world-record holder.
"We thought Ludo could be the world's longest [cat] when we started seeing clips in newspapers of these other cats that were a lot older than Ludo," says Gill, of Wakefield, England.
According to Guinness, a measuring tape determined that the Maine coon, at 3 feet, 10.59 inches tall, is the world's longest domestic cat.

The Fastest 30 Meters on a Scooter by a Dog
Norman the Scooter Dog swiftly scooted his way into the record books when he achieved this astonishing goal in 20.77 seconds. Norman, who is owned by Karen Cobb, proved to the world his unbelievable skill at the All Tournament Players Park, in Marietta, Georgia, in July of 2013.
Since then, the talented Briard has faced his toughest feat yet: battling cancer. After a diagnosis of stage IV lymphoma, Norman underwent chemotherapy as well as steroid treatment and a bone marrow transplant. Things were touch and go for a while, but Norman pulled through and continues to amaze his family, friends, fans and doctors with his strength and spirit.
You can learn more and donate towards Norman's continued care through his GoFundMe page.

Dog with the World's Longest Tail
Keon the Irish Wolfhound is a tall, shaggy white dog with a tail that measures over 30.2 inches — that's over 2 feet!
Guinness deduced this record by measuring the tip of Keon's tail bone to the very top of his tail.
The pup's name means "courageous" in Irish, and his owners, who are from Westerla, Belgium, say he fits the description well.

World's Largest Horn Spread for a Living Goat
Rasputin is a 9-year-old Walliser black-necked goat who lives in Austria with his owner, Martin Pirker. The animal's horns measure 53.23 inches, from tip to pointy tip.
According to Pirker, his pet — who is named for Russian Czar Nicholas II's infamous adviser — doesn't let his horns go to his head. He's a good mate to his lady Lily and their kid, Lucky.
"Rasputin is a very nice goat, he never hurt anybody, he’s very careful," says Pirker.
