Miley Cyrus couldn’t be happier about the newest addition to the Cyrus family – and she took to Twitter to tell the world about it.

“@tishcyrus @noahcyrus just rescued baby ‘Rosie’ from @spotrescuedogs another angel saved,” she Tweeted on Monday.

With help from their mother Tish, 12-year-old Noah Cyrus adopted a 2-month-old brindle puppy, a mutt – which she later renamed Penny Lane – from the Saving Spot! Dog Rescue of Los Angeles on Monday.

The charity is close to Miley’s heart. Two of her pups, Ziggy and Happy, came via the rescue – and for her 20th birthday on Nov. 23, she wanted to return the favor: She asked that people donate to the group in lieu of birthday gifts.

“Thank you to all my fans who donated to Starkey Hearing Foundation Saving SPOT! Dog Rescue for my birthday :),” she Tweeted. “Y’all topped it again best bday present by far!”
