Just when you thought Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka‘s family couldn’t get any cuter, they went ahead and adopted a fur baby!

Her name is Gidget and Instagram hearts are already bursting, with more than 19,000 likes so far and counting.

“Introducing the newest member of our family GIDGET! Thank you @animalleague and @bethostern #getyourrescueon,” Burtka wrote on an Instagram collage he shared this week, showing the cute fam with their newest charge.

The photogenic fluffball is a 6-month-old wire terrier mix, North Shore Animal League America tells PEOPLE, a birthday present for the couple’s now 6-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon.

Gidget was rescued as a part of North Shore’s partnership with Project Street Dog Thailand, a nonprofit that helps stray dogs and cats in Hua Hin, Thailand. North Shore tells PEOPLE the family worked closely with an adoption counselor to find the perfect match.

And judging by the photos, it’s a match made in heaven!
