The crooner lounges with kangaroos in Australia and cradles a lion cub in South Africa

He’s crooned about being a solitary man, but Neil Diamond is definitely delighting in the company of many furry friends as he travels the globe.

Late last month, he shared photos of his adventures in Australia on Twitter, including one shot of him receiving “kisses” from a cuddly koala and another of him lounging in the grass with kangaroos. Now he’s in South Africa, where he’ll perform in a few cities this month, and away from the stage he spent some time cradling an adorable lion cub. “I’m making friends in South Africa already…” he Tweeted.

This summer, Diamond will continue to globetrot to places like Berlin, Antwerp and Dublin. We hope the Dublin Zoo’s new baby gorilla is on his hit list!
