The animals of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals recently welcomed some special and stunning Santas to one of their shelters.

The Lions modeling agency and ASPCA teamed up to bring attention to all the loving pets looking for a home this holiday season. Victoria’s Secret Angel Sara Sampaio, along with models Barbara Fialho, Flavia Lucini, and Lana Zakocela, stopped by the ASPCA’s adoption center in Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York, to spread some Christmas cheer among the critters.

“I believe adoption is incredibly important. If you show these animals love they will be by your side always, and love you unconditionally. You have saved them, and they will be forever grateful,” Lucini said.

The models, donning Santa caps, strutted through the shelter passing out treats, toys and other goodies to the animals. Now the cats and dogs have everything they need to paw into a forever home.

“I am huge animal lover,” said Sampaio. “It was so much fun visiting the ASPCA last week and playing with all of the adorable dogs and cats. My dog Luigi is my best friend, so I understand what an amazing gift a pet is. My hope is that people will recognize how truly special these adoptable animals are, and will consider giving them a forever home for the holidays!”

To help make this happen, The Lions will be posting adoptable animals across their social media accounts with the hashtags #LionstotheRescue and #Models4Mutts. To see even more adoptable pets, visit the ASPCA.
