Man Recovering After 10-Foot Python Slithers Up Toilet and Bites Him

File this one under: living nightmares.
A Thai man is recovering after a 10-foot python slithered out of the toilet he was using in his home and latched onto his genitals, NBC reports.
Nevertheless, Attaporn Boonmakchuay managed to smile as he was interviewed about the incident which landed him in the hospital — and will likely haunt his dreams for the rest of his life (like it will ours).
Although Boonmakchuay, 38, struggled for some 30 minutes on Wednesday to remove the lengthy creature — his wife and a neighbor were finally able to free him — he is expected to fully recover.
“He has a really good attitude … even though his own wife and children were in shock. He’s been smiling and giving interviews all day from his bed,” said hospital director Dr. Chutima Pincharoen.
Watch the video as emergency workers dismantled the Asian-style squat toilet, with the snake still in it.
The python lived through this potty predicament as well. NBC reports the snake was taken away to be released back into the wild.
