Leona Lewis Releases Charity Song with Support from Lisa Vanderpump to End Yulin Dog Meat Festival

Celebrities are teaming up to bring an end to a cruel tradition.

Matt Damon, Kate Mara and Ricky Gervais and many more have spoken out against the annual Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China, and now Leona Lewis and Diane Warren have released a charity song to help bring and end to this event.

Lewis and Warren have created the track “(We All Are) Looking For Home” — featured in the video above — for the Vanderpump Dog Foundation and Stop Yulin Forever. For years, TV personality Lisa Vanderpump has been fighting to end the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, where thousands of dogs are annually stolen, beaten, crammed in tiny cages and then slaughtered for food. This new charity song and informational video is just one of the many ways the Vanderpump Dog Foundation has raised awareness about this alarming event, which will happen again this year on June 21. The non-profit has also organized a march to the Chinese consulate, created World Dog Day, collected over 2 million signatures for a petition to ban the festival and has donated money to help the dogs rescued form the festival.

Vanderpump, Lewis and Warren all hope this song inspires even more animal lovers to take action and help find a way to end the Yulin Dog Meat Festival for good.
