The American Idol winner welcomes a French bulldog to his family
Kris Allen enjoyed an early present under his Christmas tree this year –a new puppy!
The eighth season American Idol champ had teased on Twitter a few weeks ago that his family was about to welcome a new addition, but the married singer wasn’t talking about a baby baby; he meant a fuzzy one with pointy ears.
Allen next Tweeted, “It’s a boy!” along with a picture of the “new addition,” a teeny French bulldog. The adorable pup, who has a white coat and black spots over his eyes, was snapped with a pooch-sized Christmas tree in his mouth.
The markings on the baby’s face lend a rather mysterious air to the pooch, who has been named Zorro.
“He’s got a mask,” Allen told the New York Post. “He is a French bulldog and we are giving him a Latin American name. I think it works, though.”
