Unfortunately, the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star’s baby girl with boyfriend Tristan Thompson will not get to meet her mom’s beloved fur baby. Kardashian’s dog Gabbana died in January at the age of 14. The mom-to-be broke the news on Instagram with a heartfelt post calling the canine “my first child, my companion and my friend.” The Good American mogul has found a way to honor Gabbana and keep the dog close to her heart. Kardashian recently had George Khalife AKA George the Jeweler create a personalized 14k gold necklace made featuring the pooch’s paw print. George Khalife; Inset: Getty A spokesperson for the jeweler told PEOPLE that Kardashian’s assistant sent a picture of Gabbana’s paw print to Khalife, who was able to create a replica of the image on the $500 necklace. The custom piece is reminiscent of the giant paw print bouquet Thompson sent to Kardashian shortly after she shared the news of the dog’s death. Any animal lover can get a similar necklace made featuring their pet’s paw print. To make one of these necklaces, which come in rose, white and yellow gold, all Khalife needs is a picture of your furry friend’s paw print, which a vet can usually provide.
