If you ever needed a reminder that alligators are actual dinosaurs, here it is.

This walking reptile tank was filmed taking a leisurely stroll near the third hole at Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Palmetto, Florida.

Naturally, there’s quite a lively debate taking place in the comments section as to whether the thing’s real or not, because what just and loving god would allow such a thing to roam the fairways of Florida? Also, people love arguing about whether videos are real.

All that said, I’ll remind you that an equally large gator was spotted last year at the Myakka Pines Golf Course in Englewood, Florida. Both of those courses are on the eastern side of the state, 48 miles apart. It’s not inconceivable that it’s the same gator, who spent the past year migrating up the coast.

Or it could be a guy in a suit. I don’t know, I’m not a scientist.
