Jessica Simpson is “heart broken” over the loss of her 5-year-old maltipoo Daisy, who was snatched by a coyote, according to an update the singer posted Monday evening on Twitter.

“My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!” reads a missing poster that the the star shared on her Twitter page.

The message, which also offered a reward, asked that anyone with information about the carmel-colored pup email this address,

A slew of followers left messages for Simpson on Twitter. “I’m praying that you find her and she was able to defend herself. My heart hurts for you, I’m an animal lover and it’s like losing a family member,” wrote @healincomfort.

“Pooor thing:( I hope you can find her- I cant believe it,” wrote @barbshadow.
