New York Times fashion writer Eric Wilson wondered if all the dogs were really poodles. “There were several varieties” of poodle, Wilson wrote. “French, standard, miniature, pink, blue and one that might have been a bichon frisé. Mr. Mizrahi said they were borrowed from friends or were rescue animals.”
