Disney is auditioning dogs for a “bark-on” role in a new movie.

Think your pooch should be in pictures? Well, here’s your chance to see his name in lights! Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is on a quest to find a camera-ready canine for a “bark-on” role in an upcoming Buddies film, an new installment in the franchise. The first auditions were held over the weekend in California –- actor RJ Mitte (right) was on hand to judge star quality – and featured dogs strutting their stuff on a catwalk. Disney has put the call out for all types of dogs, from action stars to super heroes. Auditions will take place across the country and Director Robert Vince will select the final star. If you think your pooch has acting chops, mark one of these dates on your calendar!
