It’s World Penguin Day! A perfect day to help the penguins of this world, and you’ll be in good company if you do.

New Girl‘s Lamorne Morris and Original Penguin are partnering with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to launch Project #ShareConservation.

This campaign is dedicated to protecting the Earth’s endangered species. Among these animals are numerous penguins, like the bachelor birds in the video above, whose population numbers are dropping due to overfishing, illegal dumping of oil and garbage, habitat destruction and more.

You can easily help protect these sweet birds in three simple ways. First, share the video above. For each time this video is shared on Facebook, Original Penguin will donate $1 to the IFAW (up to $10,000). If you want to do more, you can visit an Original Penguin store or go online to and buy a limited edition tote or Pete the Penguin pin. Original Penguin will donate $6 to the IFAW for each pin purchase and $8 for each bag. Finally, the last way to help, and perhaps the most simple, is to go to and donate directly to animal protection and conservation efforts.

Whatever your choice may be, try to take a moment to give back to the birds that made this holiday possible.
