Happy Anniversary, Bo Obama!
OLDER & WISER
Since moving to the White House in 2009, Bo has lost his puppy fat and developed a swagger that suggests he’s become the master of his domain.
As is her tradition, First Lady brought her 4-year-old Portuguese water dog to read The Night Before Christmas at Washington, D.C.’s Children’s National Medical Center in December, and Bo appealed to the audience like no one else could.
PLAY THE FIELD
Following in the First Lady’s aerobic footsteps, Bo gets moving during a youth sports clinic at the White House in October.
During a Spanish-language news broadcast in March, Bo came flying through the background of the shot, photobombing Univision reporter Adriana Arevalo’s TV spot. The clip quickly went viral online.
READY TO MINGLE
For a special Christmas trip to PetSmart with the President, Bo has a meet-and-greet of his own – with a standard poodle named Cinnamon.
“He’s a very sweet dog. I’m not being biased. He’s very well-mannered, he’s very even-tempered,” Mrs. Obama told David Letterman. “He has a very busy schedule, appearances. I’m thinking about getting him an agent.”
It’s just us guys! POTUS and FDOTUS get silly on Air Force One during a flight to Hawaii for the Obama family’s annual holiday vacation in December.
