Gwyneth Paltrow Fears Family Dog Will Be Called 'Daffy'
The actress recently brought a “tiny” Maltese into her household
Gwyneth Paltrow London home just got a new family member – the furry kind!
The actress, whose primary residence is in London, recently acquired a Maltese, and she has one small concern about the dog’s name.
Apple and Moses, Paltrow’s children with husband Chris Martin, named the pooch Daffodil, she says in the August issue of Vogue. “The downside being that the dog’s likely nickname would be Daffy,” writes the story’s author, Jeffrey Steingarten.
Apple, 6, has previously displayed a love for animals. She had asked for a petting zoo at her last birthday party.
It seems the children participate in caring for the “tiny new dog” in addition to naming honors, as they “burst in” to the house while their mother was on a phone interview for her cover profile. Poor shivering Daffodil had just been given a bath!
