Frontman Justin Vernon has two cats, Flo and Melmon, who roam the Wisconsin recording studio where the band makes music. “I’m really into my pets,” Vernon told PEOPLE. “They are a good thing to have around for your brain.”
The tour hit the road in January and her beloved miniature Labradoodle, Joplin, and Maltese, Security, came along for the ride. “I love my dogs more than most human beings,” she told PEOPLE. “They’re my cuddly little friends on the road.”

The country singer’s bulldog Athens is a distant relative of the University of Georgia’s furry team mascot. “I wanted the same bloodline as the actual mascot,” Aldean told PEOPLE. “So I went on an extensive search on Google and happened to find a breeder who had one of the sons of Uga V.”
The music legend and his dog Happy whipped their hair back and forth when they hung out with fellow dog lover Willow Smith last year.
THE BAND PERRY
There are only three kids in the Perry family, but Kimberly, Reid and Neil say they have four more siblings. “Our pups are our family,” Kimberly told PEOPLE. “We really do view Addie, Moses, Scout and Dakota as extended brothers and sisters.”
