Best Friends Animal Society is signing onto Facebook to help connect pets with potential adopters.

The method is already leading to forever homes fast. On National Puppy Day, the animal welfare organization used Facebook Live, the social network’s live video streaming service, to show off an adorable dog name Lyra on their feed.

The 2-year-old Yorkie’s sweet broadcast caught the eye of an animal-loving couple, who walked into Best Friends’ Utah shelter and asked for “the video girl” the next day. Lyra’s new parents told the shelter they saw the Facebook Live video of the pup and watched it over and over again, eventually deciding they needed the dog in their life.

When they met her the next day, it was love at first sight all over again. The couple adopted Lyra on the spot. The Yorkie is now at her new home, making friends with her kitty sibling and getting fitted for a lifejacket so she can go sailing this summer.
