Get ready to get splashed!

Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry, of country trio The Band Perry, have a packed schedule these days opening on tour for Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan –they could use a little relief! So before jumping on stage in Tampa last Friday, the siblings had a few laughs –and got their hands wet – at a local dog wash.

The trio teamed up with Purina Dog Chow to promote their new tastier Dog Chow and consumers were asked to dare Purina to give back to their communities. One of three winning dares came from Donnie Genton of Memphis, Ind., who dared Purina to organize a dog wash with The Band Perry. All proceeds from the dog wash will go to The Human Society of Tampa Bay.

No strangers to furry four-legged friends, the Perry’s have four dogs of their own, named Addie, Moses, Scout and Dakota. Kimberly calls them “extended brothers and sisters.”

And if their days weren’t busy and exciting enough, the siblings – who helped announce the CMT Award nominations last week – were nominated for three awards themselves, including Video of the Year and Group Video of the Year. “We kinda had to contain ourselves since we were on national television,” Kimberly gushed to “We are just so excited!”
