Last month, we put a call out for your pets’ best New Year’s resolutions. We wanted to hear which bad habits your cuddly critters promised to kick in 2010 – and you delivered! We received more than 300 submissions, and narrowed it down to five terrific winners, who will receive a $300 donation to the shelter of their choice and be featured each day this week on PEOPLEPets.com.

Today’s winner is EZ Luvin, a super-cute, 10-year-old French bulldog who lives with owner Stacy Kitchen in Yardley, Pa.

EZ’s Resolution is very practical and one that we all should heed: Never to go outside again “without sunscreen for my tongue.”

That’s a smart one, EZ, especially with all the sun exposure your tongue gets!

Each winner receives a $300 donation – plus a generous food donation – to the animal shelter of their choice, courtesy of Wellness Natural Food for Pets. The winner also receives a gift basket as a great incentive to keep his or her resolution!

EZ and Stacy have designated the French Bulldog Rescue Network of Glen Allen, Va., to receive their donations (and help other Frenchies like EZ Luvin).

Thanks to everyone who entered the “If Pets Had New Year’s Resolutions” contest, sponsored by RomeotheCat.com, Wellness Natural Food for Pets and PEOPLEPets.com. Check back tomorrow for the final winner!
