Ice cream is fun, until it isn’t

You know the feeling: All of a sudden, your entire skull is trapped in an icy cocoon of discomfort; it seems like it will never end – and then it does. That’s a brain freeze, and apparently cats get them, too.

In this 2014 video – somehow just now having its moment – a kitty takes a few eager slurps of ice cream. At first the feline seems pleased, gladly gobbling up more. But then it hits.

The once joyous cat lets out a desperate gurgle of agony.

“Ice cream, why have you forsaken me so!?” we imagine him saying.

After braving the freeze, the meow-er quickly forgives the food and goes back to eating.

Won’t you ever learn?
