The First Dog has changed quite a bit since he got to the White House
It’s been more than two years since Bo Obama joined the First Family in the White House, and the nearly 3-year-old pooch has changed quite a bit since he first arrived!
The latest picture of Bo comes from a day out in the Rose Garden on Monday, where the Portuguese Water Dog (looking much huskier than he did in his puppy days) seemed to be enjoying the breezy temperatures, a respite from the steamy weather of the previous weeks.
“Bo’s a handsome little guy,” said the Washington Post’s Manuel Roig-Franzia in April 2009. “Well suited for formal occasions at the White House, he’s got tuxedo-black fur, with a white chest, white paws and a rakish white goatee.”
And from what we’ve seen of him so far, Bo has proven himself on many occasions to be a perfect gentleman – well, except for that one time. Even First Dogs have to bark once in a while!
