Billy Ray Cyrus wowed fans over the weekend with an afternoon set in scorching temperatures at Nashville’s CMA Fest. But come Monday, the country singer wasn’t retreating indoors. Instead, he decided to amble around the Denver Zoo meeting animals!

“Join me for a stroll through the Denver Zoo. It’s amazing here!” he Tweeted Monday with a photo of a cheetah walking through grass. He shared six more shots of different animals at the zoo, including a pair of elephants, an eagle, and a red-tailed hawk.

“Meet Champ! He’s a King Vulture. I bet he loves Elvis!” he said of one bug bug-eyed bird. We wonder if he charmed him with a few songs off his new album?
