Meet Logan.

Logan’s a big ol’ boy. He’s got some poundage on him, and people really like that. Most importantly, he’s got a lot of love to give, and he’s fine with his body image if you are.

Logan resides at the Best Western Silver Fox Inn in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. He’s 7 years old and 31 pounds of love, and he’s suddenly famous.

“He acts like he owns the place,” owner Tor Brunvand told the New Hampshire Union Leader. “All the little old ladies, and most of our visitors, in fact, love him. When they first arrive, they ask for Logan.”

A video recently posted to the hotel’s site drew millions of views because of Logan’s rotund avuncularity, and the Brunvands are considering making him his own website now. “We didn’t expect quite that much attention, but he is a very lovable cat,” Brunvand added.

Many in the online community have weighed in on the dangers of Logan’s weight, but Susan Brunvand casts off any allegations of abuse.

“When we got him from the shelter, I asked them, ‘Why is this cat so fat?’ But we’ve had him all of these years and he’s had times when he hasn’t eaten for long periods and he still hasn’t lost any weight. He doesn’t eat to excess.”

The pair have tried different foods, but Logan will only eat one thing, leading the Brunvands to conclude that they just have “a fat cat.”
