Mad Hatter Bandit, an 8-year-old Chihuahua, claimed the grand prize in the dog costume contest, the New York Daily News reported. The getup, reportedly inspired by Johnny Depp, earned him a year’s worth of chow.

Cookie the hamster is all dressed up with somewhere to go! Among the littlest contestants, the rodent nabbed the top prize for the Featured Creature (Most Exotic Pet). “I got her from school,” Cookie’s owner, Amanda Mercado, told the Daily News. “My teacher said if you pass all your classes, you can keep the hamster.”
