The puppies are now in the care of Texas' Harris County Animal Shelter

Seven puppies are safe after being left for dead on Thursday.

According to the Harris County Animal Shelter, animal cruelty investigators from Harris County, Texas, received a call on Thursday from a concerned citizen who said they saw someone throw a bag of puppies from a car window.

Investigator went to the scene of the incident and found a garbage big filled with seven starving, shivering puppies

“A cruelty report was filed and we are looking for more information from anyone who may have witnessed the action. The cold and starving puppies were brought to Harris County Animal Shelter and will be placed in temporary cruelty foster,” the Harris County Animal Shelter wrote on Facebook along with a video of the seven lucky pups.

Anyone with information about who cruelly abandoned these animal should file a cruelty report at (832) 927-PAWS or 927PAWS.org. Provide video and photo documentation if possible.
