Even if you’re terrified of snakes, it’s impossible not to be charmed by this baby snake taking its very first breath of air. That’s right puppies, you don’t have a monopoly on adorable videos.

On Friday, the Australian Reptile Park posted a video of a tiny baby king brown snake — just hatched seconds prior — taking its very first breath, and the Internet still can’t get over how precious it is.

Others, however, continue to cling to their anti-snake sentiment. “Don’t like snakes not that one anyway it looks vicious already what a big mouth it has,” one person commented.

Another commenter added: “That’s the first and last time it’s going to be called cute.”

That’s probably true. In our day-to-day lives, we tend to stay pretty far away from snakes that aren’t adorable, awkward newborns. And even in the case of baby snakes … we still don’t want to get that cuddly with them.

We’re good just watching this video.
