The biggest affair on Chewy’s social calendar this year is, without a doubt, the toy ball. Chewy’s faithful assistants, which include his owner Kelly Cipiti, take the hundreds of stuffed toys that mostly stay packed away in tubs, and pour them out all over the house to make a big party.

The 5-year-old Chihuahua-poodle mix puts on his tuxedo and goes through reminiscing with his squishy friends –all the bears, the chickens, the tigers and bones – one by one. Greeting his public, if you will.

“He’ll sniff around and look for some of his favorites,” Cipiti tells PEOPLEPets.com. “His barbell one that squeaks, that’s his favorite. Eventually he wears out and will lay down in the middle of them.”

Chewy’s “little brother” is a 4-year-old Chihuhaua named Chico, and most of the time, the two get along swimmingly. “Chewy is always licking Chico and cleaning his face off,” Cipiti says.

The loving Choodle is a little less generous when it comes to sharing the valuable real estate on Cipiti’s lap, however.

“Chico will be sitting on a prime spot on my lap, and Chew will want it,” Cipiti says. “He’ll lure Chico with a toy and run to the spot where Chico was laying on me. And then I’ll say, ‘Chico! You fall for it every time!’”
