Come out, come out wherever you are! Um, turns out we know exactly where Meme the cat is: hiding under a blanket with holes. Meme’s owner, Sofia Steiner (sofiesuy) of Montevideo, Uruguay, says this playful kitty is always up for a good old-fashioned game of hide and seek but “always forgets to hide her tail.”

Meme (a.k.a Elecktra) loves hiding in closets, flowerpots and under blankets, even though she gets a little over her head sometimes. “She feels nobody can see her and she feels protected and at the same time she is watching everything,” Steiner says. “Sometimes I have to help her out of it because she does not know how to get out.”

True to her name, Meme likes to be the center of attention. “She keeps on talking all the time,” says Steiner. “To us, people and birds.” She’s also quite the princess who loves to eat squid with garlic and mussels and loves to be pampered with “long hours at the hair salon – of course, me combing her.”

When she’s not playing hide and seek, Meme is playing tag. “Lately she likes to sleep under my bed,” she says. “And if you walk near she would take her paw out and touch you.” You’re it!
