Lifestyle Pets Andy Murray's Dogs Wear His Olympic Medals The Scottish tennis star's border terriers Maggie May and Rusty don silver and gold By People Staff Published on August 7, 2012 06:00 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Andy Murray’s Olympic medals have gone to the dogs – his border terriers, Maggie May and Rusty! The Scottish tennis star, who won the Olympic singles gold medal after beating Roger Federer, and the silver medal in mixed doubles, has let his pups feel some of the glory by letting them wear his medals. “Here we go folks … Just checking to make sure Rusty definitely has the silver, obviously,” reads the caption of a photo posted to Maggie May’s Twitter page, which is reportedly updated by Murray’s girlfriend, Kim Sears. It may have been just a cute photo op, but this duo is deserving of medals in their own right. On their Twitter feed lives photographic proof of their near-perfect Olympic high jumps and synchronized napping. [RELATED_TEXT “Can’t get enough pet news? See more on PEOPLE Pets •Slick Thinking!
