Think pigeons are nothing but bagel-wearing nuisances? Meet Campbell, the Chicago pigeon who is taking over Instagram, the art world and your preconceived notions.

Discarded as an egg, Camp was adopted and raised by George Keaton and Mariah Naella, who found the chick in a destroyed nest near their house. They raised the guy as their own, feeding the pigeon with a syringe and taking proud family pics with him, their human son and their dog.

Camp has acquired over 7,500 Instagram followers — including Amy Schumer — thanks to his good looks, artistic point-of-view and digital media savvy. Camp was also recently featured in an art show because guess what? It’s 2015 and pigeons can be anything they want to be.
