Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Today, meet Peter Pan and Wendy, 7-year-old Chihuahua mixes living at the Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) in Milpitas, California.

This bonded pair were found wandering the streets together in very poor condition. Not only were they unkempt from life on the streets, but they came to the shelter painfully shy and fearful of the world around them.

Wendy, with the white face, and Peter Pan want nothing more in life than to be together. They snuggle together, groom each other and find comfort in each other’s company. It’s unclear what their past was like, but it’s clear they are BFFs and need to spend the rest of their lives together. And, in just a short time they have blossomed into quite the happy duo. They’ve shown how much they really do love people, how they enjoy playing in the yard at the shelter and catching rays in the sun whenever they can.

If you think this adorable twosome is for you, contact the shelter at 408-262-2133. To read more about them, visit their website.
