Adopt Me! Windee Is as Easygoing as They Come

The 14-month-old shepherd mix loves people, dogs and new adventures

Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to extraordinary adoptable pets every week. Today, meet Windee, a dog who’s been dubbed “Mr. All Right” because nothing seems to phase him.

Despite the fact that he was born on some tough city streets, this 14-month-old shepherd mix is super laid-back. He loves people, dogs and taking walks, adapts easily to new environments and doesn’t bark or chew things he shouldn’t.

Born in June 2012, Windee and his five siblings had a rough start in a neighborhood that proved hostile for dogs due to overpopulation by strays. The pups were eventually reported to the city pound, which took them in and found them a foster home through the Asians for Humans, Animals & Nature rescue group. One by one, each of his siblings were adopted, but Windee is still waiting for his fur-ever home.

Although he loves food – especially chicken jerky! – there’s not an aggressive bone in Windee’s body and he’s always willing to share. Just ask his friend Ben, in whom Windee has found a canine companion to play with.

If you think this friendly fellow is the pal you’ve been looking for, email AHAN at contact@ahan.org and check out Windee’s Adopt-a-Pet.com profile to learn more.
