Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to extraordinary adoptable pets every week. Today, meet Bella, a 9-month-old Lab/terrier mix who’s had a rough start.

The friendly and playful pup was adopted a few months back, only to be returned to Precious Friends of Clarksville, Tenn., with demodex, an environmental skin condition commonly referred to as mange. But not to worry: Bella is responding well to treatment, and she’s happy as can be.

“Her favorite thing to do is play with other dogs,” says the rescue’s director, Melissa Bellman. “She will bark at them if they ignore her. She likes to liven up the dog park.”

This energetic pooch – who knows how to “sit” and loves treats – would liven up any home, too. “The perfect adopter would be able to give her a lot of interaction,” Bellman says. “She always wants to be with you.”

If you think Bella is the bosom buddy you’ve been looking for, contact Precious Friends at (931) 551-4407.
