Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Meet Sheena, a golden retriever/collie mix who will follow you anywhere.

At 10-years-old, Sheena is an older adoptable animal, but that doesn’t stop her from living her life to the fullest. “She does very well walking on a leash and is waiting to become your companion on all your adventures,” reads her Adopt-a-Pet.com profile.

In addition, the good-natured goldie, who currently resides at the Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue, Wash., loves showering her humans with attention. “[She] is waiting to greet you with lots of tail wags!”

Sheena has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and behavior tested, and is looking for a cat-free home. She can also understand the commands sit, stay and down.

Interested in adopting Sheena? Contact adoptions@seattlehumane.org or visit her profile on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
