Adopt Me! Puppy Mill Survivor Katie Just Wants to Curl Up In Your Lap
The adult Yorkie mix greets everyone she meets with tail wags and kisses
Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Today, meet Katie, an adorable Yorkie mix available through North Shore Animal League America in Port Washington, New York.
This sweetheart was rescued from a puppy mill in the midwest and despite her ugly past, Katie has a lovable personality. She’s great with other pets and welcomes every person who visits her with tail wags and kisses. If you should meet her, know this: all this girl wants to do is curl up in your lap and snuggle, so take a load off and let that happen, okay?
- “In spite of the difficulty of beginning her life living in a puppy mill, she is now one lucky lady who has been rescued and brought to a safe haven where she is loved and cared for,” saya shelter director Christina Travalja. “We know that once Katie finds a loving home, she will provide unconditional love and share a bond with her new family to last a lifetime.”
- If you think this little lady is for you, contact North Shore Animal League America’s adoption center at 516-883-7575 with Katie’s number: PM5435.
